While parents have to worry about whether or not the programs they are choosing to allow their children to watch are a good idea or not, there is also the matter of finding the right things to watch altogether as a family. Younger children are not going to be able to handle certain movies that teenagers and parents would find fun on a Friday evening, but the rest of the family cannot be expected to suffer through countless repeats of favorite Pixar or Disney animated classics.
