Many people have trouble deciding what kind of television package to invest in. Some find it very hard to decide between satellite television and cable. There can be benefits to both. Depending on where you live, sometimes cable doesn’t have the greatest channels or services. The problem with cable is that there is no consistency in the programming. One company might have a certain channel in one city, while another city doesn’t have access. This isn’t the case with satellite television. The Earth Observation Directorate of the European Space Agency (ESA), Rome and Eurockot Launch Services GmbH, Bremen, have signed a contract for two satellite launches from late 2011 onwards. These launches comprise the joint launch of three SWARM satellites and a second generic launch suitable for different Earth observation and scientific missions ESA is currently preparing.

It has emerged that Intelsat has lost contact with Galaxy 15. However, the root cause is still unknown. Meanwhile there is speculation that the launch of SES-1, like G-15 an Orbital Star-2 model, might be delayed.
