Indian PSLV launches five satellites

Rocket: Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C15); Payload: Cartosat-2B, ALSAT-2A, NLS 6.1 (AISSAT-1), NLS 6.2 (TISAT-1), STUDSAT; Date: 12 July 2010, 0352 UTC; Launch Site: Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, India. After about 20 minutes of flight time, the remote sensing satellite Cartosat- 2B along with the four auxiliary satellites was successfully injected into a circular orbit of 637 km with an inclination of 98.1 degrees.
