Rokot fails to place GEO-IK-2 in target orbit

The Russian Space Forces could not establish contact with the GEO-IK-2 satellite that was launched aboard a Rokot/Briz-KM from Plesetsk on 1 February 2011, 1400 UTC. Latest reports indicate the spacecraft ended up in a useless orbit.
