SBIRS GEO-1 flown to launch site

The U.S. Air Force and Lockheed Martin team has delivered the first geosynchronous (GEO-1) Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) spacecraft to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, where it will be prepared for an early May lift-off a board a United Launch Alliance Atlas V launch vehicle.
