ESA hands over Soyuz launch complex to Arianespace

The Soyuz site at Europe’s Spaceport near Sinnamary in French Guiana is now ready for its first launch. ESA yesterday handed over the complex to Arianespace, marking a major step towards this year’s inaugural flight.

EC to adopt space strategy

On 4 April, the European Commission will adopt the Communication to the Council, the European Parliament, the European Economic & Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions, on a European Union space strategy.

Towercom to contract fourth Astra transponder

SES Astra has signed an agreement with the Slovak telecommunications and TV operator Towercom for the use of one additional transponder on its 23.5 degrees East orbital position.
