Atlantic Bird 7 launch on track

Intelsat orders two new satellites from SS/L

Space Systems/Loral (SS/L) has been awarded a contract to provide two high-power satellites to Intelsat for Direct-to-Home (DTH) television service in Latin America. JAXA successfully tests Akatsuki engine

MESSENGER navigates hot season, executes orbit-correction manoeuvre

The MESSENGER spacecraft emerged unscathed from the second of four “hot seasons” expected to occur during its one-year primary mission in orbit around Mercury.
