The Cassini plasma spectrometer instrument (CAPS) aboard NASA’s Cassini spacecraft at Saturn has resumed operations. Mission managers received confirmation on 16 March that it was turned on. They plan to monitor the instrument for any unusual behaviour.

Polar Broadband Ltd., the company that plans to use Russia’s stranded Express-AM4 satellite for providing communications services to the Antarctic, said it was not aware of an official decision by Russian authorities to de-orbit the spacecraft.

DISH Network, America’s second largest satellite provider in the United States by subscribers posted positive growth for new acquisitions last quarter with an estimated 22,000 net additions, trumping the previous year’s loss.
