Submit on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 14:57

Satellite Television providers place satellites in the geosynchronous orbit about 22,236 miles above the earth’s equator to deliver Television and Audio signals to homes and businesses. The Geosynchronous orbit, allows the satellite to stay aligned at one place and follow the rotation of the earth. Once the satellite dish is installed on Earth and pointed in the right direction, the dish will stay stationary and won’t need to be moved to follow the satellite in the sky.Other Posts:Astrium has ‘no plans’ to buy DigitalGlobe or GeoEyeIntelsat Names Shernit To Run Intelsat General UnitMars Science Laboratory aeroshell deliveredAvanti Signs Satweb DealNASA seeks game changing solar array systems proposalsMicrospace Provides Juice To DrinksTV Digital-Signage NetworkNext Ariane 5 ECA handed over to ArianespaceLDREX-2 deploys antenna
