The IRS systems or Integrated Reception System is a type of communal aerial that is able to receive a wide range of signals which allows the residents to subscribe to their preferred television services. IRS allows the residents to have subscriptions to SkyTV, Freesat, Freeview as well as Digital Radio and FM Radio. The IRS systems will also allow residents to receive analogue signals until the time comes when it will be switched off and permanently and completely replaced with digital television which is expected to happen very soon.
