Antares hot fire test scheduled for 22/23 February

NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility will provide launch range support for an Orbital Sciences Corp. Antares rocket engine test scheduled for 22/23 February at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport’s Pad-0A. The window for the engine test, or hot fire, is 2300 – 0200 UTC.

PSLV launch rehearsal completed

Amazonas 3 starts in-orbit testing

The Hispasat Group’s Amazonas 3 satellite has entered its in-orbit test phase, prior to becoming operative. It was successfully launched on 7 February onboard the Arianespace Ariane 5 ECA launcher from the European space base in Kourou, French Guiana.
