Aerojet Rocketdyne’s improved XR-5 Hall Thruster (designated XR-5A) has successfully completed initial on-orbit validation testing on the unmanned X-37 space plane, which is presently on its fourth mission in space.

Ball Aerospace delivers GRACE Follow-On equipment

Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. said it has delivered key components to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) for a laser ranging system designed to achieve greater accuracy in measuring changes in Earth’s ocean, groundwater and glaciers.
