Rocket: Soyuz-U; Payload: Progress M-28M (Progress 60P); Date: 3 July 2015, 0455 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The spacecraft separated from the third stage of the launch vehicle normally. Less than 10 minutes after launch, the resupply ship reached preliminary orbit and deployed its solar arrays and navigational antennas as planned.

The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), in its thirtieth flight (PSLV-C28), will launch three identical DMC3 optical Earth observation satellites built by Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL), United Kingdom (UK).

NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft recently performed a 23-second thruster burst – the third and final planned targeting manoeuvre of New Horizons’ approach phase to Pluto. It was also the smallest of the nine course corrections since New Horizons launched in January 2006.

JAXA has announced the official naming of the Next Generation Launch Vehicle currently under development. The name was decided in coordination with the prime contractor (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.)
