Rocketdyne and Firefly to provide flexible access to space

Aerojet Rocketdyne and Firefly Aerospace, Inc. announced a co-operative agreement that combines the capabilities of both companies to provide flexible, sustainable and highly competitive space access solutions, the companies said.

Cyclone 4M upper stage performs qualification test

Maritime Launch Services said a Cyclone 4 [Tsiklon 4] fully-integrated upper stage, destined for the Cyclone 4M rocket to be launched from Nova Scotia, Canada, recently underwent the 7000 series qualification profile. This was followed by a second full duration burn profile on 30 August 2019.

JWST achieves milestone of successfully withstanding launch stresses

MUOS satellite system ready for full operational use

The Mobile User Objective System (MUOS), developed by prime contractor Lockheed Martin with ground systems provider General Dynamics Mission Systems, was deemed operationally effective, operationally suitable, and cyber survivable, following successful completion of its Multiservice Operational Test and Evaluation (MOT&E).
