ISRO launches most advanced Indian imaging satellite so far

Rocket: PSLV-C47; Payload: Cartosat-3, 13 nano satellites; Date: 27 November 2019, 0358 UTC; Launch site: Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota, India. After 17 minutes and 38 seconds, Cartosat-3 was successfully injected into a Sun-synchronous orbit of 509 km.

Progress MS-13 docking date assigned

The cargo transport vehicle Progress MS-13 to the International Space Station (ISS) is scheduled to launch on 6 December 2019 at 0934 UTC from Baikonur, while docking with the station was scheduled for 9 December.

USSPACECOM operationally accepts WGS-10 satellite

On 19 November, U.S. Space Command accepted Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS)-10 into the operational constellation and will be transitioning users to utilise the bandwidth provided by this new satellite.

Roskosmos may delay Progress MS-13 launch

Technical problems have been revealed in Russia’s Progress MS-13 cargo spacecraft, scheduled to be launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on 1 December. Although they have meanwhile been rectified, the date of the launch remains uncertain, the Russian State Space Corporation Roskosmos said.

Boeing Starliner placed atop ULA rocket for first flight

Boeing’s new CST-100 Starliner is now connected to the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket that will launch the spacecraft on its first flight test to the International Space Station. lift-off from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is targeted for 17 December.

Ariane 5 receives “green light” for upcoming launch

Delay of the day: PSLV/Cartosat-3

ISRO said the launch of its Earth-imaging and mapping satellite Cartosat-3 along with 13 commercial nano satellites from the US, has been rescheduled to 27 November (UTC).
