Silicon Valley Space Week Speaker Focus: Preston Dunlap, Arkenstone Capital

The Space Force is letting SpaceX decide how many satellites the $2.29 billion Space Data Network Backbone will carry, and it plans to zero out future Transport Layer funding in fiscal 2027. Preston Dunlap, the first Chief Architect Officer of the Space Force and Air Force, moderates the panel on whether that network is a backbone or a single point of failure at Silicon Valley Space Week.
