TeleCable starts deployment of Eutelsat’s Tooway

Following a contract signed recently between TeleCable and Skylogic (Eutelsat’s broadband affiliate), Telecable is now initiating widespread deployment of the Tooway satellite broadband service in Asturias (a northern region of Spain).

GAO report calls SBIRS software re-development ambitious

The launch of the first SBIRS-GEO satellite in December 2009 could be jeopardised under certain circumstances, the U.S. General Accounting Office warned in a study. The programme had recently been plagued by problems with the flight software.
