New crew blasts off for International Space Station

Rocket: Soyuz-FG; Payload: Soyuz TMA-13 (17S); Date: 12 April 2008, 0701 UTC; Site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The manned transport spacecraft was accurately placed on the target orbit for another mission to the International Space Station.

First MUOS propulsion subsystem delivered

Lockheed Martin announced the successful delivery of the core structure with an integrated propulsion subsystem for the first satellite in the U.S. Navy’s Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) constellation.

Inmarsat 4 F3 deploys AstroMesh antenna

A deployable reflector system made by Northrop Grumman Corporation successfully deployed on-orbit 28 August aboard the Inmarsat 4 F3 satellite, the company said in a statement issued today.
