Court enters judgement in ICO litigation against Boeing

ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Limited announced that the Los Angeles Superior Court has entered judgement on the verdict the company received in its litigation against Boeing and its Boeing Satellite Services International subsidiary.

SES Astra and Globecast distribute Orange TV over Satellite

SES Astra and GlobeCast announced the signature of a capacity contract with the French telecommunications operator Orange to distribute its new Orange TV offer via satellite, particularly targeting French homes with no TV coverage over ADSL.

Shenzhou-7 companion satellite finishes mission

The accompanying satellite of the Shenzhou-7 orbital module has accomplished its primary mission after 100 days in space, the Beijing Aerospace Control Center (BACC) said according to Xinhua news agency.

Development of China’s regional navsat system slightly delayed

Chinese state media said the country would launch more Beidou satellites in 2009. The completion of the planned regional navigation system appears to be delayed by a year or so, though.
