New U.S. weather satellite successfully launched

Rocket: Delta II 7320-10C; Payload: NOAA-19 [NOAA-N Prime, NOAA-N’]; Date: 6 February 2008, 1022 UTC; Site: Vandenberg Air Force Base, USA. Following a 65 minute flight, the weather satellite was deployed on its mission to improve weather forecasting and monitor environmental events around the world.
