Northrop Grumman-built cryocooler on Ibuki operational

A high-reliability heritage flight cryocooler built by Northrop Grumman Corporation is now operational, following its launch aboard Japan’s Ibuki, also known as the Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite (GOSAT), earlier in February.
