First H-IIB successfully launches first HTV

Rocket: H-IIB; Payload: H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV); Date: 10 September 2009, 1702 UTC; Site: Tanegashima Space Center, Japan. The launch vehicle flew smoothly, and, at about 15 minutes and 10 seconds after lift-off, the separation of the HTV Demonstration Flight was confirmed.
