China to provide ‘financial assistance’ for PakSat-1R

Chandrayaan-1: too hot to handle?

GlobeCast books two more Eutelsat transponders

GlobeCast and Eutelsat Communications announced the signature of a three-year contract for two 36 MHz transponders on Eutelsat’s Atlantic Bird 1 and W2A satellites.

TerraSAR-X radar satellite to become a key data source for GMES

Infoterra GmbH (which holds the exclusive commercial marketing rights for TerraSAR-X data and services) announced that it won a framework contract covering the acquisition and provision of TerraSAR-X radar satellite data worth EUR2.2 million (US$3.1 million), as well as the implementation of a direct ordering tool for this data, worth another EUR200.000.
