Why Cable TV is Inferior to Satellite TV

Since the introduction of satellite TV in the mid 90’s, the cable TV providers have been fighting a losing battle in spite of their best efforts to halt the trend. The appeal of satellite TV to the public is proving to be irresistible – it’s now becoming cheaper than cable; it’s more reliable; and allows for a greater number of channels.

SMOS unfolds antenna arms

Following the launch of ESA’s SMOS satellite on 2 November, the French space agency CNES, which is responsible for operating the satellite, has confirmed that the instrument’s three antenna arms have deployed as planned, and that the instrument is in good health.

USAF plans conjunction assessment for more satellites

ViaSat antenna systems for Australian Defence Forces

MediaScape takes one more transponder on NSS-11

SES World Skies announced that it has concluded a new multi-year agreement with MediaScape, Inc to provide an additional transponder of capacity on the NSS-11 satellite at 108.2 degrees East.
