Construction of Angara launch facilities may be delayed

For more than two years, i.e. since March 2007, no delays had been announced for Russia’s new Angara family of rockets. This may have been a record in the 15+ year history of the project, but the next delay is now on the horizon.

Pratt & Whitney tests thruster for unmanned lunar lander

Using technology developed for the U.S. ballistic missile defence system, Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne successfully completed hot-fire thruster tests demonstrating the ability of miniaturised thrusters to perform the descent and landing operation for a new generation of multi-use robotic lunar landers.
