New GLONASS satellites operational

Sofradir wins additional contract for infrared detectors

French company Sofradir, which manufactures Mercury Cadmium Telluride (MCT) infrared detectors for military, space and industrial applications, won a further EUR2.5 million contract to provide a second batch of 15 micron-pitch multi-linear short-wave infrared (SWIR) arrays for GMES.
