The biggest window ever launched to space has been installed in its final position on the Earth-facing port of the International Space Station’s Node-3. The latches and 16 electrically driven bolts were engaged today at 0631 UTC. Opening of the window shutters is foreseen for Wednesday.

I like TV, I enjoy watching a good movie, checking the news to see what is going on in our crazy world, or sometimes, I even enjoy zapping through the channels, just waiting for something interesting to come up; but something is missing…. how many times there is nothing interesting there? You’re the type of person who only makes reasonable, budget-conscious choices when it comes to the services you use. When it comes to sex on cable and satellite TV, the topic is more often than not considered taboo, categorized under the same category as profanity. Of course, it is fine to show violence, from blood spilling out of an open wound to people dying in car explosions, but when it comes to good old-fashioned love making, the FCC just will not allow it.

If there is one station that has really turned its programming around in the last ten years to take a commanding lead in the ratings for cable and satellite TV viewership, it is the Discovery Channel.
