If there is one station that has really turned its programming around in the last ten years to take a commanding lead in the ratings for cable and satellite TV viewership, it is the Discovery Channel. Once only associated with boring nature programs and soothing yet monotonous narration (that more often than not had a British accent), the Discovery Channel was anything but exciting.
