Learning to Survive in the Wilderness

There are a lot of things you can learn from watching television, actually. You can definitely get a good idea of what the weather is going to be like in your fair city today, you can find out the top news stories in the States and abroad, and you can also beef up your knowledge of various cuisine, geography, and even sometimes foreign languages. But there is something else that you might be able to learn from watching television, and that is how to survive if you happen to get lost in the wilderness while parachuting from a helicopter above the Siberian steppe or hiking in Patagonia’s most inhospitable wilderness.
