IKAROS demos propellantless attitude control

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) performed an attitude control experiment of the solar sail of the Small Solar Power Sail Demonstrator “IKAROS” after its deployment, using a liquid crystal attitude control device.
