Rocket: Proton M/Briz M; Payload: SkyTerra 1 (MSV-1); Date: 14 November, 1729 UTC; Launch Site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. After a 9 hour 14 minute mission, the Briz M successfully released the satellite into geostationary transfer orbit.

The Progress M-05M supply ship, which was on a mission as a scientific laboratory for three weeks, was dumped in the Pacific today. The planned return of two ISS astronauts aboard a Soyuz spaceship has meanwhile been moved forward four days.
