After all, there’s not much that’s romantic about stepping on sticky floors and getting popcorn stains on one’s clothing while cell phones go off through the duration of the film. The fact is that it is often a lot more enjoyable to watch a film at home, and this way, it’s possible to move beyond what’s in theaters and to pick something that one’s date might have mentioned as a favorite already.
