USAF’s WGS satellite supports relief efforts in Japan

The Wideband Global SATCOM system’s dual-band and crossbanding capabilities are proving to be critical in the ongoing earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan, the U.S. Air Force said in a statement.
