Aerojet operates Japanese Hayabusa low-power ion engine

Aerojet and NEC Corporation announced that they have successfully operated a Japanese Hayabusa low power microwave ion engine at Aerojet’s facility in Redmond, Washington.

Crescent Communications signs capacity deal on ABS-7

Crescent Communications FZ LLC has signed an agreement with Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS) for multiple transponders on ABS-7 to serve the Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Middle East markets for broadcast and IP-based services.

For those who had excellent first dates, there’s a desire to excel to the same level, or even top, that initial experience. And while going social again might be a good idea for those who don’t feel comfortable talking in private yet, anyone who is thinking about dinner and a movie might want to get more creative. After all, there’s not much that’s romantic about stepping on sticky floors and getting popcorn stains on one’s clothing while cell phones go off through the duration of the film. The fact is that it is often a lot more enjoyable to watch a film at home, and this way, it’s possible to move beyond what’s in theaters and to pick something that one’s date might have mentioned as a favorite already.

MELCO puts Turksats on Proton

International Launch Services (ILS) and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO) of Tokyo, Japan, announced a new contract for the launch of Turksat 4A and Turksat 4B on ILS Proton.
