STSS satellites show ‘remote cueing’ capabilities during Aegis test

The Space Tracking and Surveillance System (STSS) demonstration satellites, built and operated by Northrop Grumman Corporation, contributed to a successful sea-based missile defence test on 15 April by acquiring, after being cued remotely, a target missile during the midcourse phase of its flight.

Two objections to TerreStar sale to DISH Network

Bankrupt telecommunications firm TerreStar Networks Inc. is facing two objections to its proposed sale to DISH Network Corp., including from Space Systems/Loral, manufacturer of the TerreStar satellite currently in orbit.

Inmarsat appoints Rupert Pearce as CEO
