The U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) issued a report on quality problems related to parts and manufacturing processes and materials for space and missile defence acquisitions across the Department of Defense and NASA. One of the results: a small piece of cloth stuck in a fuel line may be the reason for the problem that the first AEHF satellite experienced after launch.

Shuttle Atlantis has landed for the final time, ending a 13-day journey of more than eight million km with a landing at 0957 UTC at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. It was the 25th night landing (19th night and 78th total landings at Kennedy) and the 133rd landing in shuttle history.
