Astrium Services and Hisdesat, the Spanish government satellite service operator, have signed a framework agreement for a joint technology development project with the aim of establishing a constellation approach for the radar satellites TerraSAR-X and PAZ.

Hispasat said it will provide mobile Internet satellite service to the new Italian fleet of Italo high speed trains, which belongs to the NTV company, and it comes into operation on 28 April. It is the second initiative of this type that Hispasat has carried out together with the Belgian service provider 21Net.
