North Korean satellite tumbling and silent (so far)

Independent visual observations seem to confirm that the recently launched Kwangmyongsong 3-2 is indeed tumbling in orbit.

Yamal-402 rescue operation complete

Thales Alenia Space, the manufacturer of the Yamal-402 satellite for Gazprom Space Systems, has carried out the fourth and the final manoeuvre to place the satellite into a planned geostationary orbit.

China’s versatile Chang’e-2 flies by asteroid Toutatis

China’s space probe Chang’e-2 has successfully conducted a manoeuvre in which it flew by the asteroid Toutatis, about seven million km away from the Earth.
