Preparations for Proton launch with EchoStar XIV begin

Several days after the successful Proton launch of the Intelsat 16 satellite on 12 February, preparations began at Baikonur for the second Proton commercial mission of this year – the launch of the Space Systems /Loral built the EchoStar XIV spacecraft for EchoStar.
