It used to be that going to the local movie theater was definitely the better choice as far as watching films was concerned. After all, nothing could compare with the big-screen feel of a feature presentation, especially back when snacks were reasonably priced and it was possible to find parking on a Friday and Saturday night. But these days, the world of theater-going and the world of at-home entertainment are changing so rapidly that it’s tough to figure out what the best bet actually is. With gigantic high definition television sets that don’t take up too much space or cost a fortune, there is a lot more incentive to stay home, rather than spend a ton on going to see a sub-par movie somewhere a half-hour away.
