Russia launches solar research satellite

Rocket: Tsiklon 3; Payload: Koronas-Foton; Date: 30 January 2009, 1330 UTC; Site: Plesetsk, Russia. The successful launch was the first flight of a large Russian science mission in more than four years, and the last of a Tsiklon 3.
