New launch date for GOCE planned for March 2009

Eurockot Launch Services and its customer, the European Space Agency (ESA), have started preparations for the launch of the GOCE (Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer) satellite from Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Russia.
