Atlas V brings satellite duo on its way to the moon

Rocket: Atlas V/Centaur; Payload: Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS); Date: 18 June, 2132 UTC; Site: Cape Canaveral Sir Force Station, USA. The Centaur upper stage successfully deployed LRO on a direct trajectory to the Moon.
