While there are definite reasons that television earns itself the nicknames of “idiot box” and “boob tube,” there’s no reason for weary parents to steer clear of everything that TV has to offer. After all, things have changed a great deal since the time when most of the programming designed for youngsters focused on superhero cartoons and advertisements for junk food.
