e-GEOS images to be used for GMES services

On 19 November 2009, the company e-GEOS, which is jointly owned by Telespazio and the Italian Space Agency ASI, announced that it signed a contract with ESA to supply optical and radar satellite data for the European Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) programme.
