Boeing said it has acquired the first on-orbit signals from the third of six Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites. The signals indicate that the spacecraft is healthy and ready to begin orbital manoeuvres and operational testing.

Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) has delivered eighteen SGR-10 GPS receivers to Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) of the USA to provide on-board orbit determination for the Orbcomm Generation 2 (OG2) satellites.
