HBO Brings Black History Month to Satellite TV

February 10th, 2010 by

February is the time for many different things–Groundhog Day, the potential dulling of a long winter, President’s Day weekend, and of course, Black History Month, the opportunity for people to pay special attention to contributions made by African-Americans to the rich tapestry that is the United States. Accordingly, a number of different television channels make an effort to play films directed or written by prominent African-American directors and screenwriters, as well as to run historical documentaries that address the tumultuous past that is just as much a part of America as any other element.

With Spring Getting Closer Every Day, Let Satellite TV Help You Through What’s Left of the Winter

February 10th, 2010 by

Though it may not seem like it, Spring is just around the corner. January has come to an end, and February has set in. Within just weeks, March will be here and the season will be under way. For those of us in the northern part of the country, the coming and going of the March 21st first day of spring date does not make much difference (because, let’s face it, we’ve probably still got a few more months of cold). However, the approach of spring is upon us, and there is light at the end of the long winter tunnel.

Benefit Your Business With Educational Programming on Satellite TV

February 10th, 2010 by

If your business could benefit in a big way with exclusive educational programming, you may want to consider switching from cable to satellite TV. Unfortunately, cable doesn’t have many options when it comes to 24/7 educational or kids programming. Satellite, however, has tons of channels that cater exclusively to children, enabling you to show their favorite programming all day in your business without having to worry about the appropriateness of the content. With a satellite TV subscription, your business receives more educational channels, better programming, and more of kids cartoons and movies in high definition. If children are your main clientele, it’s a great investment in their entertainment.
