ATK prepares to ship ORS-1 bus

Alliant Techsystems said it prepared to conduct final testing and ship the Operational Responsive Space-1 (ORS-1) satellite bus, after building it in just 16 months. The bus will be shipped to Goodrich Corporation for integration of the payload in preparation for launch later this year.

Motorola sues Iridium for damages

exactEarth sells satellite-based AIS data to Canadian government

exactEarth Ltd., the data services subsidiary of COM DEV International Ltd. , announced that it has signed a C$1.4 million contract with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to provide space-based Automatic Identification System (S-AIS) data.

SBIRS GEO-2 achieves key testing milestone
