ESA and the European Defence Agency (EDA) are furthering their combined efforts in the study of satellite services for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) through the signing of contracts with two consortia to carry out parallel feasibility studies.

Many people, including satellite installers here in Spain, get confused about Freeview and Freesat. You cannot receive Freeview in Spain, no matter what people say.

Watching baseball in the old days was something of a romantic scene. The family would be gathered around a static-filled screen, periodically adjusting the rabbit-ear antenna to get a better view of the action. Some of the great home run calls might be muffled by bad reception – let alone the picture – but in the end it was all worth it. When you look at the differences satellite TV made on watching the grand old game of baseball, it’s hard to consider the effects anything less than dramatic.

With 98% percent of the areas being rural areas in the United States and the majority of the population prefers to live outside of major cities and towns. These rural areas have limited access to major stores and shopping centers; often they are restricted to local stores. Now with the access to the Internet everyone can shop online at any of the major stores but the problem is that most Internet providers do not reach the rural areas forcing them to use dial-up Internet.
