EchoStar XIV successfully launched

Rocket: Proton M/Briz M; Payload: EchoStar XIV; Date: 20 March 2010, 1827 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan-.After a nine-hour, 10-minute mission, the Briz M successfully released the satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit.
